1 :
Arrival at Dehradun.
Day 2 :
After breakfast, drive 35 kms to Mussoorie with packed lunch. On the way visit Malsi deer park. After sightseeing at Mussoorie, drive 8 kms to George Everest. Dinner and overnight stay in camp at George Everest.
Day 3 :
After breakfast, trek 8 kms to Jwala Devi with packed lunch. Spend some time viewing the Himalayan peaks, Yamuna river, and the Mussoorie valley.
Trek back to George Everest camp in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 4 :
Trek 12 kms back to George Everest camp in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 5 :
After breakfast, trek 8 kms to Kempty Falls with packed lunch. After having a bath at Kempty Falls, drive back 50 kms to Dehradun, via Mussorie.
Dehradun - The capital city of Uttarachal is a complete blend of city and hill culture. It is set in the foot hills of Himalayas at the centre of the 120 kms long Doon Valley.
The name Dehradun is literally made up of two words where Dera means Camp and Dun stands for Valley. The beautiful town is referred as the gateway to Mussoorie and Garhwal interior.

The district is named after its chief city Dehra Dun. The town lies in the Dun Valley, on the watershed of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. The name Dehradun is a collection of two word "dera" meaning Camp and " dun" meaning valley.
The district is situated in the north-west corner of the state. It is bounded on the north and to some distance in the northwest by the district of Uttarkashi, in the east by the district Tehri Garhwal and Pauri-Garhwal, in the south by the district of Saharanpur(Uttar Pradesh) and its southern tip touches the boundary of district Haridwar.

Besides 501 kms of roads are managed by the local bodies and about 354kms managed by other state departments.
