Nagarkot
is a popular tourist resort of Nepal. It is situated 32 Km east of Kathmandu
at an altitude of 2,175 m above sea level. The panorama of the major peaks of
the eastern Nepal Himalaya including Sagarmatha (Mr. Everest ) can be seen from
here. Nagarkot is famous for sunrise and sunset viewing. Other Himalayan peaks
like Manaslu (8463 m), Ganesh Himal (7111 m), Langthang (7246 m), Choa Bhamre
(6016 m), Gaurishankar (7134 m) and Numbur (6957 m) are also clearly visible
