Day 1 : Delhi - Nainital
Early morning drive to Nainital.Drive to Nainital, situated at an altitude of 1,938 mtrs. It is one of the most popular tourists destination of the country. This dreamland town with its beauteous splendor brings the cool air with it which is a secret hide out of the tourists each year. The nucleus of Nainital's exquisite beauty is her lake which is a heaven for water sports like Yachting, Kayaking, Canoeing and Boating.

Day 2 : Nainital

Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalyan necklace, blessed with scenic natural spledour and varied natural resources.
Dotted with lakes , Nainital has earned the epithet of 'Lake District' of India.

The nucleus of Nainital`s exquisite beauty is beautiful lake. In the day, mirrored in its waters stand seven proud hills, dotted with pretty cottages and villas.
This reflection alone holds one spell bound.

On one of side of lake run the Mall road now named Govind Ballabh Pant Marg. It is lined up by many hotels ,reataurents,travel agencies , shops ,banks and other business concerns. In summer months of May & June Mall road is closed for vehicular traffic in evening hours to facilitate Mall strolling which is the famous attraction for all the tourists.

Naina Peak known as the China peak this peak is the highest point in Nainital. From here Nainital appears as a bowl. You can walk or take ponies to the peak. From this peak you can capture the exciting views of Nainital. Naina peak also gives a good view of the Camelback peak.

St. John's Church was built in 1847. A brass memorial is kept in memory of the persons who were buried in the infamous landslide.
Observatory, the clear skies over Nainital prompted the government to setup an observatory here. The observatory has one of the most advance telescopes in India.

Zoo Gardens, Nainital has a small but a very beautiful Zoological garden. There are many animals kept here which includes Deer's, Bears, Tigers and many more. The hygiene and cleanness of the zoo is a point which attracts the mind even if one ignores it. Not surprising this zoo is one of the cleanest zoos in the country. The zoo can be reached on foot or taxi can be hired.

Horse Riding, any visitor coming to Nainital cannot miss the joy of riding a horse on the Mall. Not only at the Mall but to reach the Snow view point, Tiffin top, Kilburi from the Mallital area one can hire ponies and horses. You can go around the town riding the horse. In fact one of the ways to experience Nainital is on a horse back. The flora and fauna of the region can be closely watched from the horses back.
